Adventurer Gift Guide (for Him)

Travel Gift Guide for Him | Adventurers Anonymous

Hey you, Happy Holidays! So hopefully, you’ve already shopped for all the female travelers in your life in the Adventurer Gift Guide for Her. Today I have 20 more items for all the men in your life who love to explore (and do it in style).

This travel gift guide is formulated so you can easily and mindfully find the perfect present for your boo, your dad, your brother, uncle, friend, etc.

To make it even easier, I’ve attached a shoppable PDF at the bottom of the page. Just download it and click the photos to take you directly to the product page. Be sure to also pin the photo above so you can access it later on or even next year.

Don’t worry, over half of these items are available on Amazon Prime, so even if you wait until the last minute, I gotchu covered. Happy gifting šŸ™‚

P.S. this post contains affiliate links. This means that if you click through and purchase something, I may receive a portion of the price. It’s at no extra cost to you, but the profits go directly back into making this blog even better!

1. Floto Leather Weekender

Starting off with one of my favorite items on the list. This calfskin weekender is almost sold out! It’s the perfect size to take with you anywhere, and fits under an airplane seat.

It’s also hand-stained, and I just love the color. This one’s a little pricey, so ladies… save it for that special someone on your list.

2. Rodd & Gunn Merino Wool Sweater

Sweaters are just a staple for the holidays. This merino wool sweater will keep him warm in all sorts of climates. I love the touches of navy on the back of the sleeves. It gives it a cool-yet-comfortable feel.

The best part? Although it’s wool, it’s actually machine washable. No dry cleaning needed! So… know of any last minute packers who could use this?

3. Gentlemen’s Hardware Flight Ready Kit

This kit from Gentlemen’s Hardware has all the fixins. Hair/body wash, face wash, shaving cream, and post shave lotion. Because, as much as I love squeezing all my toiletries into little silicone containers (not), it’s so much easier to have travel-friendly products at arm’s reach.Ā The sandalwood & citrus smell works on just about anyone, too.

4. Apple Watch Series 4

I mentioned it in this post, but I feel like Apple Watches were designed specifically for travel. I mean, our phones are normally glued to our hands, but when you’re rushing through the airport, you’re already holding a million things.

This baby will update you on departure times and let your mom know you made your flight on time, so she can stop texting you. P.S. you can also get the Series 3 to save you some dolla dolla bills.

5. Bose Soundproof Headphones

I can’t imagine getting through a long flight without a quality pair of wireless soundproof headphones. You gotta have some way to block out announcements, crying babies, and your snoring neighbor.

Bose sound quality is superior to any other. If you want to get someone a nice gift, but they’re really hard to shop for or you just can’t think of anything, go with these.Ā

6. Old Fashioned Carry On Cocktail Kit

We can’t just let the girls have all the fun with these cocktail kits, now can we? Now of course, I’m playing up stereotypes here. I love a good old fashioned, much more so than the gummy bear cocktail kit I put in the For Her guide, but the best part is there’s one for every taste (or, every stocking, wink wink). My favorite is the mule, but I do appreciate a good G&T. Better yet, just get this set.

7. Tom Ford Noir Extreme Cologne

I don’t know what Tom Ford does to their colognes, but they’re addicting. I bought my boyfriend the original one and I can’t get enough (really it was a present for me amiright).Ā

This Noir Extreme has even more “flavor” to it. It has notes of amber, sandalwood, mandarin oil, cardamom, orange flower, and Indian kulfi accord (whatever that is). It’s a little more sophisticated and perfect for the guy who likes to take risks.

8. Vetelli Faux Leather Dopp Kit

Every man needs a good dopp kit that looks sophisticated and will last forever. I love this faux leather one because of the vintage design yet practical features. This one has two large compartments to fit all his toiletries and shaving tools.

It also has a waterproof lining to protect against any spills. Even so, I wouldn’t recommend a dopp kit made from real leather because it could be ruined by the moisture.

9. Globe Whiskey Decanter Set

I got this for my guy last Christmas. He loves traveling and he loves whiskey, so it was a no-brainer. There are a lot of similar models out there, but I like that this one comes with four etched glasses, as well.

The hand-crafted wood stand is a rich cherry color, and the hand-blown ship inside just looks beautiful. It’s a true conversation piece and will add some flair to any room.

10. Water Resistant Travel Laptop Backpack

Yet another present for the BF. I gifted him this backpack before our trip to Iceland, and it really came in handy.

First of all, it’s waterproof, so melted snow wasn’t an issue. It also has a ton of cool features like hidden pockets everywhere, an external USB with built-in charging cable, and an anti-theft pocket in the back.

The most convenient part is that the zipper completely unzips, so pulling out your laptop at security is a breeze.

11. Boconi Leather Passport Case

This rich brown passport case made of genuine nappa calfskin leather is perfect for the adventurer in your life. Its RFID Blocking technology will make sure his passport information is secure.

Plus, all the pockets inside mean that he can double up and use it as a wallet, too. It’s such a classic style that it will fit any guy’s taste.

12. S’well Teakwood Water Bottle

Is it just me, or is it much harder to convince men they need to hydrate? This teakwood waterbottle should do the trick. It’s insulated so beverages stay cold all day, and the design makes you want to take a sip.

S’well always has such high quality products. Their bottles last forever. That, along with their huge selection of designs is the reason they are so popular.

13. Travel Books:
Not Afraid of the Fall &
Destinations of a Lifetime

Ok, so, real talk. I’m squeezing two products into one category because one of these was supposed to go on “her” guide and I forgot. I’m a huge book nerd and would always be so excited to get one as a gift (wink wink, friends & fam).

I read Not Afraid of the Fall last year and it inspired me to go to so many places, such as Prague (just recently) and Croatia (coming up in June). The author has a very casual-yet-hilarious way of recounting their experiences, and it’s a perfect easy airplane read.

Destinations of a Lifetime will make you want to drop everything and travel the world (ok they both will). It’s gorgeous and would make an awesome coffee table book, so you can show off your love of adventure to everyone.

14. Leather Bound Travel Journal

I love journaling and have several different ones. This particular one I use as a travel journal because its leather cover and textured pages make me feel like I’m truly telling tales of my adventures.

I also love that the pages aren’t lined, so you can occasionally throw in a sketch of a beautiful landscape (or a doodle of someone you’re people-watching). Anyone, guy or girl, would love this bound journal.

15. FOREO LUNA Mini 2 Black

Like I’ve said before, everyone needs a FOREO LUNA. This little sonic cleansing brush has gentle vibrations to help exfoliate without irritating your skin. It also feels damn good especially at the end of the night or after a long trip.

And yes, your mans will use it. They even make a separate mens version but it’s much bigger and you don’t need that. Just get this one in black or blue or hot pink for all anyone cares.

16. Rugged & Dapper Facial Moisturizer

More skincare for men yay! If you don’t want to go for the full kit in the begining of this guide, just get this facial moisturizer & after-shave cream from Rugged & Dapper.

It’s all organic and made from age-defying ingredients likeĀ Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera, Jojoba & Shea. Prevention is key people, so don’t JUST get this for your dad/uncle/grandpa. My brother is 9 and I’m about to order him some (kidding, but only a little bit).

Oh yeah, it’s also has a shine-free finish, because I know most men haven’t jumped on the dewy glow look… yet.

17. EXSPLORE T-Shirt

New boyfriend and you’re not sure how serious it is yet? Get him this t-shirt from Exsplore. It shows that you appreciate his sense of adventure, but is simple enough that you won’t feel weird if he doesn’t get you something in return.

Plus, you can just steal it, anyway.

18. Gentlemen’s Hardware Travel Manicure Set

Never trust a man that doesn’t have groomed nails (even and especially if he works in a field where they normally wouldn’t be). If anything, you can just drop a hint and give him this haha. I’m totally kidding.

Gentlemen’s Hardware does it again. They seem to make any ordinary thing into something that’s sophisticated and cool. So my only question is, is there a Gentlewomen’s Hardware? #equality

19. Herschel Supply Duffel

I love anything from Herschel Supply Co. You can just tell their quality is superb, yet it still looks so simple and tasteful (I’m looking at you, Gucci).

This duffel stands out because of its rich wine color, and whoever you gift this to will want to use it again and again. Some of its awesome features include a two-way waterproof zipper and a special shoe “garage” as they call it. Genius.

20. Merino Smartwool Pullover

If you’ve never tried any Smartwool products, you need to get on that right now. Then, buy this for all the men you know.

Their fabric is soft, moisture-wicking, thermoregulating, sustainable, and odor-neutralizing. That’s straight from their site, but I second this because I wore a pair of their socks for like a week straight in Iceland (TMI?).

Anyway, this pullover will keep him cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather, so he can pack it for literally any trip. I love this color, too, and it’s something different from the usual black or grey.

That’s all for the men! You should have plenty of gift options, no matter his style or your price range. Don’t forget to download the PDF below for an easy shopping experience.

Keep an eye out for more gift guides coming soon! These will be downloadable as well, and they will be organized by theme such as the techie or hiker, but of course, all still travel-related.

xx, Darya
